6pm to 8pm: Friday Night Jazz: Kim Richmond Sextet
We can all meet in the LA Times Central Courtyard, grab a glass of something, listen to jazzy stylings of the featured sextet while chatting and waiting for people to arrive. Then head next door to.....

8pm to 9pm Art Chats The Arts in Latin America 1492 - 1820

One-hour conversation-based tours of special exhibitions led by LACMA's college and graduate-student gallery teachers. Art Chats will focus on the special exhibition The Arts in Latin America, 1492-1820. Meet at the entrance to the exhibition in the Art of the Americas Building.

After 9pm If anyone wants to continue the evening at a nearby café/pub/restaurant, I'm open to suggestions.

I think this would be a great way to get acquainted for our...er MY.... first meeting. I'll be there 6pm and will hang around meeting you as you arrive until the Art Chats begin at 8pm.
